As I'm sure your all aware tennis is returning on 29th March which is amazing news and something for us all to look forward to ππΎ
According to the LTA "This will mean recreational tennis will be able to resume, including singles and doubles social play, 1:1 coaching and formally organised activity for groups, including group coaching (maximum group size and court ratios subject to confirmation)".
Once we have clarification on group sizes and court ratios we will update you further.
We look forward to seeing you all soon πβοΈπΎ ...

We're gutted to say that as of today, all tennis has to stop due to the new government guidlines π©
We will of course let you know the moment if and when anything changes. The LTA work incredibly hard trying to persuade the government to allow tennis to continue so keep your fingers crossed π€π
Look after yourselves and we can't wait to see you all back on court soon ...

Happy New Year πΎπ₯³ We hope you all had a great Christmas given the restrictions.
So a quick update on what coaching is currently allowed while in Tier 4.
The Government & LTA have given the all clear for individual lessons to continue for both children & adults which is great news.
Group sessions for Mini & Junior players under 18 years of age are allowed but sadly No ADULT GROUP COACHING π©
We will keep you posted as soon as anything changes. We hope to see you all soon π€ππΎ ...

Quick update on the current situation π©
As it stands groups will not be allowed to run for either adults or children but the LTA are trying to persuade the government to allow one to one sessions to continue. At the moment this is looking very unlikely as they seem to be standing resolute in their decision. The statement below is from the LTA within the last couple hours:
"The Government have today indicated that they won't be allowing outdoor tennis courts to open in England during the period of the new national restrictions that come into force from Thursday. This is hugely disappointing for all those who love tennis up and down the country. We will continue to put our case to them ahead of the formal legislation detailing the restrictions during lockdown, which is yet to be published and is due to be voted on in Parliament on Wednesday. We will then provide an update on the definitive position of what is and isn't allowed".
If there is any change we will let you know as soon as we hear but for the moment we will be running sessions up to Wednesday 4th as normal and then will sadly have to wait until we are allowed to recommence on December 2nd.
We hope to bring you good news but if not we will hope to see you all once we are allowed to return.
Keep well and stay safe ...
